The mission of the procurement department is to acquire services, supplies, equipment, and construction at the most efficient level. The department is responsible for ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all vendors who work with the Authority. The SHA Procurement Department works diligently to accomplish the mission while complying with all applicable federal, state and local laws.

Resident Programs

The Spartanburg Housing Authority Resident Programs – At SHA we offer many ways we assist our residents in changing their lives.  General programming is offered for all ages, as well as a more individual approach when requested.  The following programs are in operation currently:

 

CONNECTIONS Program - The CONNECTIONS Program is aimed at increasing residents’ educational level or enhancing their ability to obtain a wage which supports a living wage.

Elderly and Disabled Services - Call Jayne Floyd at 598-6127 or Ryan Grace at 598-6071.

Family Self Sufficiency Program - The purpose of the FSS Program is to provide families the opportunities to remove barriers by identifying resources in the community that will assist them in achieving economic independence.
