Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List Opens Tuesday 10/15

The Spartanburg Housing Authority will begin accepting applications for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program waiting list beginning on Tuesday, October 15th.
Applications will ONLY be accepted at the SHA offices at 201 Caulder Ave.

Applications will be accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to noon from October 15th to October 31st. The waiting list will close promptly at noon on Thursday October 31st, 2013, after which time applications will no longer be accepted.

Applications can be obtained after 10/1 to complete ahead of time at the following locations in Spartanburg:
Spartanburg Housing Authority, 201 Caulder Ave.
Spartanburg Main Library, Reference Dept on 3rd Floor, 151 South Church St.
Department of Social Services, 630 Chesnee Highway

Applicants must be eligibility guidelines, screening of criminal records, in addition to having no outstanding dept with the SHA or other PHA in order to qualify for this program.
